I cant believe it, that dirty little vato loco, that we have all grown to love has just crushed it at the 2010 Denver Pro Am Carp Slam. The Carp Slam is a tournament hosted by Denver Trout Unlimited, and teams up professional and amateur fly fishers to chase the elusive common carp on the waters of South Platte River in and around downtown Denver. The Tournament hosted anglers for 2 days of fishing in both a Pro Am tourny, and an open tourny.
We want to thank amateur Phil Beranato for his help supporting the fist place win on day one, and also props to our boy Tyler Kendrick at Discount for raking a win on the 2nd open day fishing as Butters teammate. Also thanks to Will Rice for the sweet pitcures-you rock it!
WFN was there during the tourny to capture some tape of our friend, and Carp master Barry Reynolds and even managed to sqweeze Butters Luna into the clip.
Honestly, the kid has proven himself as a true carp master (with a big sack).
