Born in raised in Northern Michigan I spent many years fly fishing the famed Manistee, Au Sable Rivers. I also spent the great majority of my fly fishing targeting browns and brook trout on some of the lesser known rivers surrounding the area. Some of the rivers such include the Maple, Sturgeon and Pigeon. Through fly fishing I found I have found peace and tranquility, enjoying a fine cast to a snotty trout is something that cannot be described into words. I have been fly fishing for over 17 years and have gone to great lengths to find new water and new aquatic experiences.
In autumn of 2003 I attended Sweetwater guide school and sought out knowledge of some of the best in the business. I have enjoyed this fine sport from the east to the west coast fishing fine water in Michigan, Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, Eastern Canada, Idaho, Wyoming, California, Colorado, and Montana. One of the great aspects that I share with friends and clients is tying your own fly and fooling a wild trout is an experience that is priceless.
Other Species targeted include: Northern Pike, Walleye, Small Mouth Bass, Large Mouth Bass, Bluegills, Carp, Salmon, Steelhead, and some salt water species.
